Protocols

ReLife PRP therapy protocols

Indications, a step by step protocol for preparing plasma and practical notes. Protocols with parameters for each area are sent to the doctor on request.

Indications

Areas of use

ReLife protocols are used in several areas, the main ones are listed below. The treating physician decides on the tactics for each patient.

Request a protocol

Orthopedics

PRP therapy for the speedy recovery of tendons and ligaments, accelerating the process of restoration of cartilage tissue, eliminating pain from injuries

Dentistry

PRP therapy is used in dentistry for bone grafting or bone augmentation. Bone tissue restoration after PRP therapy occurs much faster

Cosmetology

In aesthetic cosmetology, the PRP procedure is aimed at radical rejuvenation of the skin and restoration of the functionality of its structures

Trichology

PRP therapy dramatically activates regeneration processes and trophism in tissues, heals the skin, helps restore the beauty and thickness of hair

Sports medicine

PRP therapy helps the body in the accelerated and harmless elimination of pain and restoration of damaged tissues. Accelerates the healing of injuries

Urology

PRP therapy is a course of injections that can be used to get rid of erectile dysfunction and a number of other urological diseases

Gynecology

PRP therapy is used in gynecology as part of the complex treatment of most diseases of the female reproductive system and for the purpose of rejuvenating intimate areas

Neurology

PRP therapy is an effective method of treating acute and chronic neurological diseases. Provides quick relief of pain at the site of pinched nerve endings

Protocol

Step by step protocol for preparing PRP

The order of work at the table, step by step, with notes on the places where mistakes happen most often. The ratio and the concentration of the activator are set by the ReLife protocol, and parameters for each area are sent to the doctor on request.

The ReLife system
01

Blood collection

ReLife tube with whole blood before centrifugation

Follow aseptic technique and draw blood into a ReLife tube with sodium citrate. Then gently invert the tube several times so that blood and citrate mix. Shaking is not allowed.

02

Separation

Tube after centrifugation, red cells at the bottom and plasma on top

Place the tubes symmetrically in the rotor, otherwise an unbalanced rotor breaks the glass. Set the mode for your own centrifuge and your own rotor. Settings taken from a seminar or from a chat belong to another machine and give a different boundary between the fractions.

03

Concentration

Tube with plasma drawn off, a thin layer of cells at the bottom

Draw the required volume of plasma and leave the cell layer under the gel untouched. When the protocol calls for leukocyte poor PRP, red cells and white cells must not enter the syringe. Losing a millilitre of plasma is better than picking up cells from the bottom.

04

Activation

Tube with plasma after activation, a light suspension

Activate the plasma only when the protocol requires it. Use a sterile calcium chloride solution and take the ratio and the concentration from the ReLife protocol. Do not invent proportions of your own.

05

Application

Syringe with plasma, ready for use

Inject activated plasma right away, the fibrin clot forms quickly. A filled syringe cannot be put aside for later. For injections into soft tissue, plasma usually needs no activation beforehand, it becomes active in the tissue itself.

Practice

Practical notes

A short summary of what most often changes the result before the injection is even made. The detailed discussion is in the articles.

Choosing tubes

The choice comes down to four points you can verify. Sodium citrate as the anticoagulant, a separating gel, safety class 2b and a registration certificate issued in Kazakhstan. A glass vacuum tube has to survive centrifugation without damage, and this is the stage where cheap products fail.

How to choose PRP tubes

Centrifuge mode for your rotor

Every model has its own rotor radius, so the same speed gives different acceleration and a different boundary between the fractions. Settings copied from another machine say nothing about yours. Ask us for the recommended centrifugation parameters for ReLife tubes when you place an order.

Five stages of the system

Why sodium citrate

The anticoagulant inside the tube decides what the doctor gets in the end. Citrate keeps calcium ions bound until activation, so clotting comes back at the moment the doctor needs it. On heparin the platelets clump together and a control count stops reflecting reality, which is why heparin is considered unsuitable for preparing PRP.

Heparin sodium vs sodium citrate

Safety class 2b

Tubes for PRP are in contact with blood and belong to class 2b medical devices, with stricter requirements for biocompatibility, sterility and quality control. Check the registration certificate before you buy. For ReLife tubes it is RK-MP-5№016078.

Checkpoints and warnings

This is what is checked at every step. Indications and tactics are decided by the treating physician alone.

Checkpoints of the protocol

  • Blood is collected into ReLife tubes with sodium citrate, the tube is inverted several times, without shaking.
  • Tubes are placed in the centrifuge strictly symmetrically.
  • The centrifugation mode is set for the particular model of centrifuge and rotor.
  • The required volume of plasma is drawn, with no red cells and no other cells when the protocol calls for leukocyte poor PRP.
  • Activation is performed only when it is needed, following the ReLife protocol.
  • Activated plasma is used right away.

The doctor makes the decision

This page describes the method itself. Who it suits, who must not receive it and how to manage a particular patient is decided by the treating physician.

A protocol does not replace the instructions

Clinical guidelines and the instructions for use outrank our summary. The tubes must be handled by trained medical personnel.

Important. We do not publish activation figures on the site, the doctor receives them together with the protocol. Activation is done with a sterile calcium chloride solution and only when it is needed.

The information is intended for medical professionals. The devices are used by qualified medical personnel in accordance with the instructions for use. Materials on this site do not replace clinical guidelines or the decision of a physician.
